Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe, nurturing environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development.
- Provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children, ensuring their needs are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare space conducive to learning and play.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Manage behavior through positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper hygiene practices are followed during feeding times.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive childcare experience.
Skills
- First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all children in care.
- Experience in special education or working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued.
- Strong background in childhood development principles and practices.
- Previous experience in preschool settings or daycare environments is beneficial.
- Knowledge of early childhood education methodologies and teaching techniques.
