Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Infant Teacher Closer to join our early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Supervise and care for infants during the closing shift, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
- Develop and adapt curriculum plans tailored to individual needs, including literacy education and early intervention strategies
- Manage classroom routines, including diapering, feeding, and nap times, with attention to health and safety standards
- Engage in behavior management techniques to foster positive interactions among children
- Maintain detailed documentation of children's progress and daily activities for parent communication
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent classroom management and adherence to educational standards
- Prepare classroom environment for the next day's activities by organizing materials and cleaning designated areas
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's day, progress, and any concerns
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with infants in childcare settings or early childhood education preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development theories, Montessori methods, or preschool experience is advantageous
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques
- Familiarity with special education practices, behavior management strategies, and early intervention programs
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is expected
- Passion for child welfare, daycare operations, and fostering a nurturing learning environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
