Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning tailored for toddlers.
• Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence while maintaining high standards of child welfare and safety.
• Manage daily classroom routines including lesson planning, behavior management, and classroom organization to foster a positive learning atmosphere.
• Engage actively with children through play-based activities that support childhood development milestones and early intervention strategies.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, address concerns, and support ongoing child welfare initiatives.
• Use classroom management techniques to promote respectful behavior and social skills among young children.

Requirements

• Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of curriculum development, classroom management, and behavior management strategies tailored for toddlers.
• Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention programs is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members.
• Demonstrated understanding of childhood development principles and early childhood education standards.
• Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred, not required.
• Ability to create lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and overall child welfare practices.
