Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to enhance their overall experience
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing of transactions
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to support food service operations
- Manage cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy
- Maintain a clean workspace by adhering to sanitation, food safety, and hygiene standards throughout your shift
- Upsell menu items or retail products to maximize sales opportunities while providing helpful recommendations
- Support food handling procedures and ensure proper food safety management practices are followed at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong food service customer order management skills
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; previous cashiering experience is a plus
- Ability to multitask effectively with excellent time management skills in a fast-paced setting
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
- Experience operating kitchen equipment and supporting food preparation activities
- Knowledge of sanitation, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures within the food industry or restaurant settings
- Retail sales experience including upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
