LOOKING FOR A PART TIME RETIRED AUTO MECHANIC. 8AM - 1PM OR 1.PM-5PM
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics, with experience in dealership environments. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise in mechanical knowledge and familiarity with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) will be essential in providing high-quality service to our customers.
Responsibilities
INSTALLING TRANSMISSIONS, MOTORS, STARTERS, AC UNITS, PUMPS, AND MORE
- Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Utilize power tools and equipment safely and effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive systems.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs on vehicle components.
- Collaborate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in a dealership setting is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose various automotive issues effectively.
- Familiarity with ADAS technologies is a plus.
- Proficient in using power tools and diagnostic equipment relevant to automotive repair.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical documents, and repair manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
