Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early childhood education, literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional skills.
• Plan engaging lesson activities that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental stages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively by applying positive behavior management techniques to create a respectful and encouraging environment.
• Support children’s physical, emotional, and cognitive development through hands-on activities, play-based learning, and early intervention strategies.
• Maintain detailed records of each child's progress, including assessments aligned with standardized testing where applicable.
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's achievements, challenges, and welfare needs regularly.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, health regulations, and childcare licensing requirements at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven classroom management skills with experience in early childhood education or daycare settings.
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques.
• Experience working with children in preschool or daycare environments; Montessori or private school experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with special education practices and early intervention strategies to support diverse learners.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners effectively.
• Ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical activities, and social-emotional learning components.
• Certification or training in early childhood education or related fields; additional qualifications in tutoring or teaching physical education are advantageous.
