Duties
As a Bakery Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with food preparation tasks, including mixing, measuring, and baking ingredients.

- Packaging baked goods for display and sale, ensuring products are presented attractively to customers.
- Providing exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering questions about our products.
- Supporting cake decorating efforts as needed, utilizing basic decorating techniques to enhance product presentation.
- Collaborating with the bakery team to meet production goals and maintain high-quality standards in all baked goods.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in food preparation or the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic culinary skills including knife handling and an understanding of kitchen equipment.
