Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage children in educational and recreational activities
- Monitor and document children's progress, behavior, and development
- Collaborate with parents to ensure the well-being and development of each child
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Follow all daycare policies and procedures regarding safety, health, and hygiene
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Ability to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques
- First Aid/CPR certification is preferred but not required
Skills:
- Special education experience
- Infant care knowledge
- Experience working with students to educate them in various subjects
- Babysitting skills
- Toddler care expertise
- Childcare experience in a daycare or similar setting
- First aid knowledge for handling emergencies
