Summary

As a Teaching Assistant at Lil' Buds Child Care & Preschool, you will support our educators in delivering high-quality early childhood education. This role is essential in fostering a positive learning environment that encourages the growth and development of young children.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities.
• Support children’s learning through hands-on engagement and guidance.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster collaboration.
• Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive social interactions among students.
• Participate in curriculum development to enhance educational offerings.
• Provide care for toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Document children's progress and assist in assessments as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children and parents.
• Knowledge of curriculum development and early childhood education principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Experience or familiarity with special needs education is a plus but not required.
• Passion for nurturing children's growth and development.
