ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Professional Organizer to join our team on a contract basis.
You’ll work alongside our team in clients’ homes to declutter, organize, style, and create customized systems that are both practical and beautiful.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role that requires organization, empathy, problem-solving, and flexibility. A great fit is someone who enjoys creating order, working with people, and bringing calm to busy spaces.
Client projects are typically within approximately a 45-minute drive of Seattle, depending on location and traffic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sort, declutter, categorize, and organize client belongings
- Create practical organizing systems tailored to each client’s needs
- Assist with space planning, product placement, labeling, and finishing details
- Support clients through decision-making with patience and encouragement
- Maintain a calm, positive presence on-site
- Load, unload, and transport organizing supplies as needed
- Travel to client homes throughout the Seattle area
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members
- Represent like BEGETS like professionally
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Warm, professional, and comfortable working in clients’ homes
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
- Comfortable with physical work (standing, bending, lifting, carrying items)
- Comfortable working in varied environments (garages, attics, storage areas, etc.)
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Tech-comfortable (basic texting, scheduling, photos)
PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED)
- Experience in professional organizing, interior styling, moving, staging, retail merchandising, or related fields
- Client-facing or customer service experience
- An eye for design, styling, and creating beautiful spaces
CONTRACT DETAILS
- This is a 1099 independent contractor position (not an employee role)
- Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and insurance
- Hours vary week to week based on client projects and scheduling needs
- Flexible, project-based schedule
- Work is performed in client homes throughout the greater Seattle area
- Contractors must provide their own reliable transportation
IMPORTANT NOTES
Professional organizing is rewarding but also very hands-on. Projects may involve sorting through years of belongings, working in garages or storage spaces, carrying products, installing organizing solutions, and helping clients make decisions about their homes.
Flexibility, patience, discretion, and a positive attitude are essential.
