What You'll Do
- Manage property operations including maintenance, capital improvements, rent collection, leasing, budgeting, and marketing
- Supervise and train on-site property managers
- Handle HUD PBV, local subsidies, and IRS LIHTC compliance reporting
- Prepare HUD documentation for contract renewals and rent increases
- Review budgets, financial statements, lease analyses, and variance reports
- Ensure resident selection and waiting lists comply with applicable laws and HUD policies
- Coordinate preventative maintenance programs with site management
- Liaise with the Supportive Services Department
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of property management experience in a related environment
- Minimum 1 year of staff supervision experience in housing
- Knowledge of HUD, WSHFC, Section 8, and low-income housing tax credits
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws
- Understanding of HUD regulations for subsidized housing, occupancy, re-certification, and NSPIRE inspections
- Clear oral and written communication skills
- Valid driver's license meeting VHA insurance requirements
- Certified Property Manager (CPM)
