Millwright Mechanic

Description

Inspects, repairs and maintains mechanical equipment utilizing diagrams, sketches and operation/technical manuals. Participates, leads and executes planned preventative/predictive maintenance activities. Assists with spare parts management. Utilizes systematic and tactical approach in applying Lean Manufacturing techniques, analysis methods and problem-solving tools. The Maintenance position will need to demonstrate good project management skills as well as be able to communicate efficiently and effectively within their team, between departments and within the international project teams. The position will also act as a proxy for the Maintenance Supervisor of the department.

Able to use electrical instrumentation and devices such as PLCs, low-/medium- and high-voltage electrical fault-finding equipment, flow and level transmitters.

Able to conduct most mechanical equipment repairs as well as hydraulic and pneumatic systems and use measurement tools such as Vernier calipers, dial indicators, levels and alignment tooling.
