The Pellet Production Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality wood pellets are produced in a safe and cost-effective manner. This individual will work closely with their assigned manufacturing team to achieve exceptional results.

The Pellet Production Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the highest quality wood pellets are produced in a safe and cost-effective manner. This individual will work closely with their assigned manufacturing team to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent communication skills and flexibility in leadership style.
- Motivate the team to meet or exceed production standards, emphasizing continuous improvement.
- Monitor shift performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
- Administer the personal development program for the team, fostering growth and skill enhancement.
- Manage the operations of critical equipment, including the green in feed system, dryer system, dry hammer mill system, kiln dried system, pellet mills, and associated systems.
- Maintain accurate production and downtime records, including operator logs.
- Ensure quality test results fall within specified ranges, addressing any incidents promptly.
- Cover absences on the team, providing relief support as needed.
- 3-5 years of leadership experience, preferably in a fast-paced 24/7 environment.
- Direct wood pellet manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in manufacturing process troubleshooting, delegation, and problem-solving is preferred.
- Excellent coaching, training, and mentoring skills.
- Good communication and documentation abilities.
