Lightway Addiction Recovery Wellness Center is a nonprofit, long-term residential center for women, including pregnant and postpartum women. The philosophy of care is one of holistic wellness following addiction and is focused on physical, mental and spiritual recovery for women whose primary struggle has been addiction to substances. Description: Lightway Recovery is seeking a female overnight support staff who enjoys diverse responsibilities and. This position is a staff member focused as an overnight team member that is available during the overnight hours if needed to assist a resident. Our residents are with us for an intensive phase of 6 months and a transitional phase of 6 months. This position reports to the Program Director.
Job Title: Female overnight support staff
Major areas of responsibility include:
Being available overnight to assist residents if needed.
Qualifications
● At least one year of abstinent recovery from addiction or family recovery or has a heart to serve women.
● A passion for serving individuals and families impacted by addiction
● Valid Driver's License with good driving record as ascertained by DMV report
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Ability to communicate with residents, and coworkers in a positive way
● Desire to be part of a team of innovators who are always working to improve the services we offer and to support each other in an evolving environment
● Willingness and Commitment to live by the Lightway code of ethics and Core Values
● CNA or CMA preferred
● Lightway Recovery is a Drug Free Workplace and all staff are subject to drug screening
Duties :
● Help team maintain schedule and adherence to house guidelines
●Perform rounds to ensure resident safety
●Periodic despensing of over the counter medication
● Be available if a resident needs assistance throughout the night.
● Complete required certifications and continue to learn through training and CEUS if applicable
Pay and Benefits: (For regular full time employees)
●Initial pay rate is dependent on experience
● Paid Time off (PTO) accrued from day one for and
available for use after 90 days.( For full time team members)
● Paid Holidays—since we are 7 days a week operation, some positions rotate holidays. Replacement holidays will be scheduled for those who work on a holiday.( full time team members)
● Phone Allowance of $50 per month,
● AFLAC specified health policies and Vision and Dental Benefits available after 90 days
