What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at Lightspeed Hobby USA?
Lightspeed Hobby is the premier distributor of hobbies and collectible products.
We are looking for passionate, reliable and hardworking folks to join our warehouse team.
Duties
- Package handling: Picking, sorting, labeling, and preparing packages for shipment
- Shipping and receiving: Verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, inspecting for damages, and maintaining accurate records
- Load/unload: Loading and unloading materials from trucks or containers
- Assist Warehouse Manager: Support warehouse manager in daily operations
Requirements
- Have a passion for hobbies and enjoy being in around such an environment
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50lbs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
