What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative position at Lightspeed Financial Services Group?
Serve as a primary point of contact for new and existing clients, responding to inquiries related to account opening, trading activity, statements, reporting, and trading technology.
Receive, process, and submit customer trade orders as needed.
Act as a liaison between clients and internal technical support teams to resolve platform and connectivity issues.
Coordinate with clearing firms to address account, trading, settlement, and operational matters.
Maintain a strong working knowledge of financial products, trading platforms, and applicable industry regulations.
Assist with trade reconciliation, settlement issues, and operational problem resolution.
Communicate with market centers and counterparties to troubleshoot trading issues and mitigate firm risk.
Support special projects, operational initiatives, and additional assignments as directed by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in trading operations, brokerage operations, or a related financial services role.
FINRA Series 7, 63, and 57 licenses preferred, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Experience with equities and options trading required; futures experience is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with solid technical aptitude and data proficiency.
Working knowledge of equity and options markets, order flow, and trade lifecycle processes.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, clearing firms, and internal teams.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented professional with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with retail equity and options trading platforms preferred.
