We're looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our Corporate Data team in Canada. You will help define and execute the vision for Analytics and Business Intelligence at Lightspeed.
What you’ll be doing:Â
- Own the roadmap for specific reporting and business intelligence/analytics projects that support corporate objectives
- Own the regular prioritization of operational data requests and data projects coming into the Corporate Data teamÂ
- Improve processes & communication methods for managing urgent operational requests
- Collaborate with stakeholders from across technical and corporate teams to define their analytical needs for the business
- Scope deliverables with stakeholders and data analysts to deliver value as quickly as possible
- Communicate project progress and risks to stakeholders
- Coordinate delivery across multiple teams to minimize delays
- Collaborate with product managers, program managers, architects, and managers on the Corporate data team to ensure clear communication of projects from inception to delivery
What you need to bring:Â
The Corporate Data team is responsible for Lightspeed’s data warehousing, reporting, business intelligence, and analytics for corporate stakeholders.Â
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
- Understanding the value that data can provide to an organization (could be through a role in or related to data engineering, data science, business intelligence, analytics, etc.)
- Proven ability to engage with technical and business stakeholders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
- Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business - engineering, finance, sales, marketing, customer experience, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgment to assess risks
- The hunger to learn across the core areas of your domain, to synthesize insights from your learnings and to leverage those insights in your team.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Clear and consistent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly collaborative and effective team member.
