Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Hospitality Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced food service environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Experience in food preparation, cashiering, and food safety is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the food industry.
Duties
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards, maintaining quality and presentation.
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales transactions, and cash handling.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and assisting guests with menu selections.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including kitchen stations, dining areas, and equipment, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while managing register operations.
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and ensuring the dining environment is clean and welcoming.
- Support team members during busy periods by performing various tasks such as stocking supplies or assisting in food preparation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, quick service restaurants, or retail environments such as grocery stores or cafes is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience in serving or cashiering roles is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates eager to learn the food industry standards.
