Duties
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit designated areas accurately.
- Install various types of flooring, including tile, hardwood, laminate, and carpet.
- Perform fixture installation and caulking as needed for a polished finish.
- Execute remodeling projects by removing old flooring and preparing surfaces for new installations.
- Conduct construction estimating to determine material needs and project timelines.
- Restore existing floors through buffing and refinishing techniques.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide expert recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with tile laying techniques and restoration industry practices.
