Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using our TOAST POS
- Upsell menu items and beverage options to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Manage guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally
- Support team members by sharing knowledge of menu items, wine pairings, and service techniques
- Lead by example in providing excellent customer service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff alike
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality
- Ability to upsell menu items effectively using sales techniques such as suggestive selling
- Experience with food handling, sanitation, and food safety protocols
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Leadership qualities with previous host/host or supervisory experience preferred for Lead Server role
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Knowledge of food industry standards including food preparation, serving etiquette, and guest services
