Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across multiple locations.
- Handle chemical agents safely while using cleaning solutions, floor buffers, and other custodial equipment to maintain floors and surfaces.
- Conduct industrial cleaning procedures such as deep cleaning of machinery or large areas, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, painting touch-ups, and upkeep of fixtures to support overall site functionality.
- Operate floor care equipment including buffers and polishers to ensure floors are spotless and well-maintained.
- Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy cleaning supplies or equipment to prevent injury and ensure efficiency.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, supplies used, and safety checks to ensure accountability and quality control.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services.
- Knowledge of proper chemical handling procedures and safety protocols related to cleaning agents.
- Experience operating floor buffers, polishers, or other custodial machinery is preferred.
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting with proper technique for safety.
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering thorough cleaning results.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while adhering to safety standards.
