Job Description
Lightning Press is an established family owned digital book printing company in Northern New Jersey seeking a bindery person needed to perform bindery and finishing duties. Primary job and machine operations include perfect binding, case binding, lamination, cutting, 3 hole drill, shrink wrapping, wire punching/binding, packaging, shipping/receiving, maintenance and clean-up, etc.
Qualifications
Knowledge of general bindery operations, printing, or digital copying experience necessary.
Applicant must have a friendly outgoing positive personality, like working with people, and be comfortable in a busy book printing environment with the ability to problem-solve and multi-task while remaining organized.
Skills Needed
Printing or bindery production.
Mechanically inclined.
Must be self-motivated.
English speaking and writing with good communication skills is essential.
Quality consciousness and reliability is a must.
Detail oriented and precision is necessary.
Some heavy lifting required of 50 lbs paper boxes.
Consistent attendance required.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Full Time 8:30 am - 5:00 pm M-F.
Health Insurance Benefits and paid time off available after 90 days employment.
