Position: Software Quality Engineer Test Automation
Location: San Jose, CA (4 Days Onsite & 1 Day WFH)
Employment Type: [Contract/Full-Time]
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure software quality and reliability.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Playwright and JMeter.
- Perform API, load, and performance testing.
- Utilize AI tools/workflows to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience in Software Testing and Test Automation
- Hands-on experience with Playwright, JMeter, or similar tools
- Knowledge of ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP
- Programming skills in C#, Java, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
- API testing experience using Postman or REST Assured
