Job Overview:
Lightnin Lectric is looking for a skilled and Licensed Journeyman Electrician. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various electrical systems, strong residential electrical knowledge, and be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics. This position offers an opportunity to work on a variety of projects in both residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national regulations
- Collaborate with construction teams to plan and complete electrical installations
- Inspect electrical components to identify hazards and ensure compliance with codes
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical wiring
- Perform upgrades or renovations to increase efficiency and safety
Skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for electrical work
- Experience working with high & low voltage systems
- Knowledge of low voltage systems for various applications
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately
- Strong background in residential and commercial electrical systems
- Familiarity with new construction & renovation projects involving electrical upgrades
