Role Description
The position will provide administrative assistance, prepare documents, communicate with clients, and support attorneys with all aspects of case preparation and organization for the various employment- and family-based immigration matters handled by the firm.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review case documents
- Create and maintain digital case files
- Maintain calendar reminders, track case deadlines
- Correspond with clients and relevant government agencies
- Draft memoranda, cover letters, email correspondence, and other related items
Qualifications
- Experience with billing (legal or medical field) is preferred
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Familiarity with legal assistant duties and responsibilities
- Experience working in immigration law is a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred
Salary : $40,000 - $50,000
