Lighting Maintenance Inc. (LMI) is seeking an experienced Construction Worker to join our growing team. We specialize in roadway lighting, traffic signals, and sports lighting projects across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. If you have hands-on skills in concrete work, excavation, trenching, conduit installation, and pole setting, this is your opportunity to build a career with a proven industry leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform concrete forming, pouring, and finishing for foundations, pads, and pole bases.
- Conduct excavation and trenching for conduits and electrical installations.
- Install underground conduits, ducts, and raceways to specifications.
- Assist in pole setting and rigging using equipment such as cranes, bucket trucks, and digger derricks.
- Operate tools and equipment safely, including trenchers, saws, drills, and jackhammers.
- Read and follow blueprints, site plans, and specifications.
- Work effectively as part of a field crew under supervision of a foreman.
- Follow all company and OSHA safety policies at all times.
What Were Looking For
- Experience in concrete, excavation, trenching, and pole setting (required).
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely.
- Strong work ethic with willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 80 lbs and perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and overhead work.
- Valid drivers license; CDL preferred but not required.
- Prior experience on roadway lighting, utility, or construction projects is a plus.
