Role Overview
The Assistant Project Manager will support the planning and execution of projects, ensuring smooth communication between our company, clients, and installation teams. This position requires daily interaction with external clients, internal departments, and field crews. Some out-of-office work is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate directly with clients, contractors, and installation teams to manage project timelines and deliverables
- Review and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Assist with submittal processes, approvals, and documentation
- Maintain and monitor project schedules, including install timelines and material tracking
- Support inside sales activities, including quoting and order follow-up
- Ensure accurate project documentation in JobTread (experience preferred)
- Provide problem-solving support to ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in inside sales, ideally in commercial construction or related industries
- Ability to read plans, drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with the submittal process and construction project documentation
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience with JobTread software is a strong plus
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
