Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based, In-Person)

Compensation: $50–$55 per hour 1099 (based on experience and qualifications)
Schedule: Follows local school calendar (approx. 190 workdays per year)

We are currently hiring in-person Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to serve students in schools throughout Gwinnett County, Georgia. If you are a dedicated SLP who thrives in a collaborative, student-centered environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings in compliance with federal and state guidelines.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams.
- Provide direct and consultative speech therapy services in accordance with students' IEP goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress reports, and evaluation findings.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other service providers to support student success.
- Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) meetings and Student Support Teams (SST) as needed.
- Comply with IDEA, state, and district guidelines related to speech-language services.
- Attend IEP meetings and provide input on students' communication needs.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Georgia SLP license (or eligibility for licensure)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- School-based experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
