Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java/Spring Boot AWS) position! This is a 6 month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Charlotte, NC.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications across both front-end and back-end layers
- Build and enhance cloud-native applications and microservices on AWS to support modern, distributed systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions that drive scalability and performance
- Build and consume RESTful APIs to support integration across microservices architectures
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance to ensure reliability and efficiency
- Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automation and deployment processes
- Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability standards are met across all deliverables
What You'll Need to Have:
- Proven experience as a Senior Full Stack Developer with ownership of end-to-end projects and deliverables
- Strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot combined with modern frontend frameworks and languages
- Hands-on experience building scalable, cloud-native applications and microservices on AWS
- Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working within microservices architectures
- Solid understanding of database design and data management using both SQL and NoSQL technologies
- Experience with CI/CD tools and modern deployment pipelines
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
