Maintenance Technician

SUMMARY: Responsible or troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of all plant equipment. RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for providing emergency/unscheduled repair of production equipment to support production.Performs scheduled maintenance of equipment as necessary.Emergency repairs of equipment may alter break and lunch times, however, break and lunch times will be given.Thorough preventive maintenance checks will be performed on a routine schedule.Performs mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.Comply with ISO guidelines, OSHA Safety and Health regulations, and maintain clean and orderly work areas.Performs other related duties and assignments as required.Requirements:Ability to handle multiple tasks, and work in a self-directed environment efficientlyAttention to detailGood organization skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and oral. Bi-lingual English/Spanish required Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds frequentlyWillingness to learn and keep up with current technologiesAbility to crouch, crawl, climb ladders, and work at various heightsGood basic math skillsGood mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityIntermediate experience with Microsoft Office softwareKnowledge of Lean, 5S, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) is a plus
