Join Our Team as a 2 or 3 Axis CNC Machinist at Lighthouse Manufacturing!
Are you a skilled and detail-oriented individual with experience in CNC machining? Lighthouse Manufacturing is seeking a talented 2 or 3 Axis CNC Machinist to join our aerospace manufacturing team in Portsmouth, NH. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-precision components that meet strict aerospace quality standards.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Perform machine setups and operate 2-axis and/or 3-axis CNC machines
- Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions
- Ensure parts meet tight tolerance requirements and aerospace specifications
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools
- Make offset adjustments and minor program edits as needed
Required Skills:
- 2 years of CNC machining experience
- Experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Familiarity with tight tolerance machining
- Proficiency with inspection tools and techniques
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Fanuc or similar CNC controls
- Knowledge of G-code editing
- Understanding of AS9100 quality systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Wire EDM a plus!
