What are the responsibilities and job description for the Molecular Technologist position at Lighthouse Lab Services?
Lighthouse Lab Services is working with an expanding laboratory located near Denver, CO. We are seeking a Molecular Technologist to join a high-complexity molecular laboratory focused on oncology diagnostics. This individual will perform blood-based molecular testing, maintain quality standards, and ensure accurate and timely results in a regulated laboratory environment.
Job Responsibilitie
- Perform blood sample processing and separation of components
- Conduct nucleic acid extraction and quality control assessment
Perform PCR and Whole Transcriptome Library Preparation protocols
Adhere to laboratory SOPs and quality standards
Perform routine instrument maintenance and QC
Maintain accurate documentation and technical records
Assist with assay validation and protocol optimization
Support accreditation and compliance initiatives (ISO15189/CLIA)
Preferred Profile:
- Bachelor's degree or masters degree in Biology or Biotechnology
- 1 year of high complexity molecular diagnostics experience
- MB(ASCP) preferred but not required.
Salary and Benefits:
- 70-85k
300 dollar stipend for benefits
- PTO and Holidays
