Medical Technologist (Flow Cytometry)

Lighthouse Lab Services is proud to represent a leading healthcare organization in Central Arkansas seeking an experienced Medical Technologist (MT) with a background in flow cytometry. This is a high-priority position created in response to growing patient volume, offering an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and established laboratory team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and interpret complex laboratory tests with a focus on flow cytometry, ensuring accuracy, precision, and timeliness.

• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot flow cytometry instruments and related laboratory equipment.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, OSHA, etc.) and adhere to all quality control and quality assurance protocols.

• Record, analyze, and report test results in accordance with laboratory policies and procedures.

• Collaborate with pathologists, technologists, and clinical staff to support patient care.

• Assist in training and mentoring junior technologists or new team members as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• ASCP certification as a Medical Technologist (MT/MLS) — ASCP-I and sponsorship are not accepted.

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science (MLS).

Preferred:

• 3–5 years of clinical laboratory experience, including at least 1–2 years in flow cytometry.

• Candidates with a Bachelor's in Biology or Chemistry plus ASCP certification are strongly encouraged to apply (subject to client approval).

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $27.36–$34.61/hr

• Paid Time Off: 17 days/year

• Holidays: 5 major paid holidays (no PTO deduction)

• 401(k): 2% employer match when employee contributes 8%

• Health Coverage: PPO and high-deductible options available, plus dental and vision

• Sign-On/Relocation: Considered on a case-by-case basis
