ABOUT THE POSITION

The Section Supervisor/ASCP Medical Technologist is accountable for day-to-day patient testing activities within one defined work area. Plans, coordinates, and directs testing activities to assure sufficient quantities of supplies, reagents, and qualified staff are available to meet the standards of care as appropriate for the age of the patients served in a cost effective manner. Works with the manager and director to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies. May be responsible for the overall activities of the laboratory in the absence of the Core Supervisor.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s degree that meets CLIA requirements for testing personnel required.
• Minimum of three-to-five years of experience as a medical technologist in a clinical laboratory setting required.
• At least two years leadership experience in core, hospital lab settings.
• MLS (ASCP) or equivalent required.

SALARY, SCHEDULE, BENEFITS

• 1st shift or flexible 1st/2nd hybrid ability to cover other shifts as needed
• $38.00-$54.58 (depending on experience)
