The Lighthouse of Houston is seeking a blind or low vision employee to work per the service contract requirement.
The Data Entry Operator II is a Service Contract position with responsibilities include accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining complex data in computer systems. This position includes verifying data accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and handling specialized data from various formats.
This position requires a team player who is willing to demonstrate the LIGHT Principles of Leadership (L), Integrity (I), Growth (G), Humility (H), and Trust (T). This position reports to the Business Services Unit Manager.

Qualifications:Roles and Responsibilities:

Accurately input, update, and maintain complex data within computer systems and databases.

Verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before and after entry.

Update, organize, and maintain electronic records and filing systems.

Transcribe alphanumeric data from diverse sources (paper, digital, audio) into databases with high accuracy and speed.

Operate alpha-numeric keyboards to enter complex coded and uncoded data from source documents into database systems.

Review and validate documents to ensure proper data processing and compliance with procedures.

Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies in a timely manner.

Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Perform routine quality checks to ensure high levels of accuracy and productivity.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and performance goals.

Organize and manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced work environment.

Follow established procedures, detailed instructions, and company data-entry standards.

Perform other general duties as needed.
Education, Licensure and Experience:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

Minimum of 2 years of data entry operations experience or equivalent related experience required.

Experience working with computer databases, document processing, and data verification preferred.

Experience handling confidential and sensitive information with professionalism.

Proven ability to maintain accuracy and productivity in a fast-paced environment.
