Position Summary
Looking for a Chief Electrical Estimator with at least one of the following:

- Multiple years of Electrical Estimating experience
- Experience with the Electrical Construction Sales Cycle

- A professional with experience performing the following tasks:
- Managing the estimating life cycle within an assigned business unit
- Collaborating between business units to create cross-functional teams leveraging estimator core competencies.
- Ensuring that staff assignments are organized, accurate, and timely
- Coordinate standards, templates, database, etc. with other Chief Estimators and Project Executives
- Creating and maintaining a system of Estimating SOP’s with other Chief Estimators
- Identifies, communicates, and employs a common minimum standard
- Identifies and implements new methodologies, technologies and trends to continuously improve the effectiveness of the Estimating process
- Actively works to improve cross unit and cross department process flows
- Works with enterprise departments to ensure the bi-directional flow of information to support estimating and enterprise functions.
- Ability to collect and communicate project level data to be pooled and utilized in the budgeting process.
- Recruit, hire, develop, and retain talent
- Assist in reviewing and evaluating opportunities.
- Participate in the selling process by attending scope review meetings, and sales meetings when requested
- Accurately apply productivity rates, mark-ups, labor rates, indirect labor allocations, etc.
- Successfully execute a project handoff process for each project
- Understand and support the creation of the project budget
- Support change management needs for projects within the assigned business unit.
- Participate in monthly KPI Meetings
- Participate in the Project Retrospective Meetings
- Assist in managing CRM system data
- Plans, assigns, and supervises all business unit estimating activities.

- Authentically model the company culture and mission.
- Ensure estimates have the proper level of detail and accuracy for the given design stages
- Contribute the appropriate information for proposal completion
- Lead proposal review meetings with the project sponsor
- Interacts with general contractors and building owners to build and maintain relationships.
- A professional with experience performing the following tasks:
Work Experience
Required:
- Minimum (5) years estimating experience as the lead estimator on projects $20 million or greater
- Data Center, Healthcare, and Light Industrial experience
- Experience leading estimates in excess of $50 million
Education:
Preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Associate’s Degree or other technical training in a related field
Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills
- Proficient with Accubid Anywhere, Bluebeam, Procore, PlanGrid, Building Connected, etc.
- Experienced in the use of Microsoft Office Suite and related software (especially Microsoft Excel and Word)
