What We Are Looking For
A Purchasing/Supply Chain Intern eager to gain hands-on experience and contribute to a high-performing supply chain team. This 12-week internship begins at the conclusion of the spring semester and runs Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
- A foundational understanding of procurement processes, purchase orders, and vendor management.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- The ability to assist Purchasing and Supply Chain Managers with:
- Creating and tracking purchase orders.
- Communicating with vendors to confirm pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinating material deliveries to job sites and warehouses.
- Supporting RFQ (Request for Quotation) processes and bid evaluations.
- Maintaining accurate records of purchases and supplier performance.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel to job sites or supplier locations within a 3-hour radius of the Pittsburgh area.
Duration of Internship & Expected Work Hours:
Anticipated Start Date: May 18th, 2026.
8-12 Weeks
Location: Canonsburg Office (In Office Internship/No Remote)
