We’re looking for a Billing Specialist to join our team at Lighthouse Counseling Services!
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Submit and manage insurance claims for mental health services
- Follow up on unpaid, denied, and rejected claims
- Investigate billing discrepancies and resolve issues
- Post payments and reconcile accounts
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and reimbursement
- Help maintain accurate client billing records
- Protect confidential client information and follow HIPAA requirements
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience with medical or mental health insurance billing
- Knowledge of insurance claims, EOBs, denials, and appeals
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Someone who takes initiative and can work independently
- A problem-solver who doesn’t give up when a claim gets complicated
- Professional communication skills and a commitment to confidentiality
- Someone who takes ownership of their work and follows through

LOCATION: Riverton, Utah
COMPENSATION: Based on experience. Holiday and PTO offered
SCHEDULE: M-F 8:30-5:30
