Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to teach under the guidance of Principal Dr. Michelle Demps, a leader in education, while making a lasting impact on students' academic and spiritual growth.
Duties
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with educational standards and meets the needs of all students.
- Create lesson plans that promote literacy education and incorporate various teaching methodologies.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, employing behavior management strategies to create a conducive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with special education staff to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a classroom setting.
- Strong skills in curriculum development and lesson planning.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and effective literacy education strategies.
- Familiarity with special education practices is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively.
- Ability to create an inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity.
