Job Overview
Lighthouse Christian Academy is seeking a full-time 7–12 Math Teacher for the 2027–28 school year. The anticipated teaching load will primarily include middle school and lower high school mathematics.

Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lessons that promote mastery of Indiana Academic Standards
- Cultivate a deep understanding and appreciation of mathematics while promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Embrace a data driven approach to education by administering screeners, pre/post tests, etc.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Math Education, or a related field is required.
- Candidates with an IDOE license or ability to obtain one are preferred.
- Previous experience working with middle/high school students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
