Job Summary
The Care Manager Supervisor at Lighthouse Care is responsible for the overall training, oversight, and quality of the work of our Care Managers. This role ensures the effective and compliant delivery of care management services, promoting a strong clinical understanding among the team and ensuring adherence to all billing and documentation standards. You'll guide Care Managers in providing comprehensive support to our members and contribute to their overall peace of mind.
Duties
- Supervision & Professional Development: Provide regular supervision, mentorship, and training to Care Managers, fostering their clinical understanding and professional growth.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance: Oversee and review Care Manager work, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to all internal policies, state regulations, and billing requirements. This includes reviewing documentation, assessments, and care plans.
- Case Management Oversight: Ensure the comprehensive and effective management of member cases, from initial enrollment through ongoing support and service coordination.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Mental Health Counseling (MHC), or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience in human services, preferably in Health Home care management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of care management principles, clinical assessment, and documentation best practices.
- Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor staff effectively in a remote environment.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and billing systems.
Schedule & Type
- Part-time: Up to 10-25 hours per week.
- Flexible Availability: Requires presence during core supervision hours.
