Duties
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current food trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Manage inventory control and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and mentorship to enhance their skills and performance.
- Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs or restrictions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with management on catering events and banquet services to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor food production processes to maintain quality standards and minimize waste.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate expectations, address concerns, and foster teamwork.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers for quality ingredients while managing costs effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role within the food industry.
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices.
- Experience in fine dining establishments is preferred; banquet experience is a plus.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Excellent menu planning skills with an understanding of dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Proficient in inventory management and control processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
