Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Technician / Assembly Specialist to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new skills, and being part of a small, driven team that values speed, precision, and teamwork. You will be a critical part of our operations and manufacturing process, helping assemble and test our VICTOR systems while offloading key tasks from our engineering team to improve overall productivity. This position offers the opportunity to become a founding member of our manufacturing team with room for advancement into management roles as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly and Manufacturing
- Assemble VICTOR V2, V3, and VICTOR Mini systems using various tools
- Prepare and install wire harnesses, cable crimps, and connectors
- Perform soldering, welding, and basic fabrication tasks
- Load, monitor, and maintain CNC router, laser cutter, and 3D printer operations
Testing and Quality
- Run diagnostic and software installation tools
- Focus and align optical systems
- Conduct quality assurance tests and maintain documentation of test results
- Support final system integration, packaging, and field-readiness verification
General Support
- Assist with demo setup and teardown, including occasional travel and trailer driving
- Maintain an organized and safe workspace
- Support engineers with prototype builds and testing efforts
- Take on any task required to ensure team success, especially under tight deadlines
Qualifications
Required
- Experience using hand and power tools for assembly work
- Basic electrical assembly skills (soldering, crimping, etc.)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to follow procedures and documentation accurately
Preferred
- Experience with CNC machines, laser cutters, or 3D printers
- Familiarity with electronics assembly, soldering, or cabling
- Basic understanding of computers and software installation
- Experience in robotics, drones, or electro-mechanical systems
