Responsibilities:
- Plan Reading and Layout: Accurately interpret construction plans and blueprints to ensure proper execution of projects.
- Schedule Management: Understand and maintain the job site schedule to meet deadlines and milestones.
- Contract Awareness: Review and comprehend job site contracts, ensuring all project responsibilities are met.
- Professional Communication: Maintain effective communication with General Contractors, team members, and project stakeholders.
- Team Supervision: Lead and supervise crews to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce and maintain OSHA safety standards, including scaffolding, lifts, and equipment use.
- Material Management: Ensure proper use of materials and tools to minimize waste and control costs.
- Quality Control: Perform regular inspections to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry and project standards.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- No prior foreman experience required — training and development will be provided.
- Pay will be based on experience and skill level.
- Ideal candidates will bring 3–5 years of hands-on experience in drywall, metal framing, or acoustical ceilings, with a strong interest in stepping into a leadership role.
Skills:
- Proficient in reading blueprints and construction plans.
- Strong understanding of job site scheduling and workflow management.
