About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate, licensed Psychotherapist based in Connecticut to join our outpatient behavioral health practice. In this role, you will provide evidence-based individual and group psychotherapy to a diverse patient population presenting with mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations, intake assessments, and diagnostic formulations.
- Develop, implement, and periodically review individualized treatment plans tailored to patient goals.
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based psychotherapy (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, psychodynamic) to individual patients and/or families.
- Maintain timely and thorough clinical documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in accordance with state guidelines and practice standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team to ensure holistic care coordination.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Connecticut clinical license required (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT).
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
- 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in an outpatient or mental health setting preferred.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Strong diagnostic, clinical writing, and interpersonal skills.
