Light of Chance, Inc. empowers youth and adults through creative arts, wellness programs, and recovery support. Our programs include the arts (visual arts, music, dance, yoga, culinary) offering participants opportunities to explore creativity, personal growth, and wellness. The Creative Content Specialist will play a key role in highlighting these stories and program successes.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Creative Content Specialist to produce high-quality videos, photos, graphics, and marketing materials for both our youth arts program and other programs. This role emphasizes creative storytelling, content creation, and post-production, ensuring our programs’ impact is communicated effectively to donors, participants, and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Video Production & Editing: Film and edit videos showcasing youth arts programs, workshops, events, and resident stories from the men’s recovery residence.
- Photography: Capture professional-quality photos of programs, events, and community impact.
- Graphic Design: Design brochures, flyers, posters, and other visual materials aligned with the organization’s brand.
- Content Editing & Post-Production: Use Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software for color correction, video grading, and professional finishing.
- Brand & Storytelling: Ensure all content reflects the organization’s mission, vision, and branding standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with staff, residents, and program participants to translate experiences into compelling content.
- Project Management: Manage multiple creative projects efficiently, meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in videography, photography, graphic design, or content creation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator) or equivalent tools.
- Strong visual storytelling and creative problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven, small team.
- Sensitivity and professionalism when working with vulnerable populations, including recovery residents.
- Passion for nonprofit work and community impact storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in nonprofit, arts, or recovery-focused programs.
- Knowledge of color correction, grading, and post-production workflows.
- Ability to travel locally to capture stories at multiple program locations.
