What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Sales Representative position at Light Efficient Design?
The Inside Sales Representative will support our Manufacturer’s Representatives and Regional Sales Manager’s to accurately price product and provide competitive crosses. The Inside Sales Representative will report directly to the Vice President of Energy and Project Sales
- Develop product quotations for Regional Managers (RM).
- Manage inbound requests for quotes and competitive crosses from reps, RMs and sales email inbox
- Work with manufacturer’s reps and regional sales managers to gain sales in the marketplace
- Keep track of all samples that have been sent out and whether the sample resulted in a sale by maintaining the samples tracker report
- Follow up with sales representatives and customers regarding quotes and sample orders as needed
- Monitor and resolve any issues when required
- Attend Monthly Sales and Marketing either by phone or in person
- Work with customers and reps to provide excellent customer service and increase business opportunities.
- Provide timely assistance and communication with the regional sales managers and reps
- Assistance with planning and executing events in the training classroom.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Experience working with manufacture representatives or electrical distributors preferred
- Customer Service experience required
- Previous experience in the lighting market preferred
Education
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Technical Schooling or College is preferred.

Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
