Job Summary Lighted Path Consulting has been engaged to search for a highly organized and experienced Medical Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of medical office management, and proficiency in HR, Finance /Billing and Operations The Practice Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient clinic operations, managing staff, maintaining compliance, and supporting financial /billing and administrative functions to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth workflow across all departments.
- Manage fiscal responsibilities including budgeting, financial management, billing and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and managed care policies.
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems to maintain patient records management and billing processes.
- Coordinate human resources functions including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and staff development.
- Oversee medical records management ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Implement clinic policies and procedures to optimize operational efficiency and quality of care.
- Monitor utilization management processes to ensure appropriate patient care delivery.
- Collaborate with providers on medical management issues including acute care and hospital experience when applicable.
- Maintain effective communication with insurance providers and manage billing processes related to managed care plans.
- Support compliance with JCAHO accreditation standards and other regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in medical office management with a strong background in healthcare management principles.
- Experience supervising healthcare staff
- Proficiency in fiscal management including budgeting, financial/billing oversight, and resource planning.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills for liaising between staff members, providers, patients, and external agencies.
- Bachelor's degree preferred and 3 plus years of practice management requiredadvanced certifications or degrees preferred.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
