Company Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Low Voltage Technician to join our team in Kingman, Arizona. This position supports critical infrastructure and communication systems in an active mining environment.
Position Summary:
The Low Voltage Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of low voltage systems, including data, communications, and security systems. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, self-motivated, and comfortable working in an industrial/mining setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, fiber optics, coax, etc.)
- Maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, access control, CCTV, and communication systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Perform system testing, labeling, and documentation
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and site requirements
- Coordinate with other trades and site personnel as needed
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Work Conditions:
- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Physical requirements include lifting, climbing, and working at heights
- Must comply with all mine site safety regulations
Compensation
- Competitive pay based on experience starting at $30.00 per hour
- (4) 12 hour shifts per week for a total of 48 hours per week (days/nights/weekends)
- Travel is required - Per diem and travel allowance provided

Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in low voltage or structured cabling systems (preferred)
- Experience with fiber optics, network systems, and security systems is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors and in a mining/industrial environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license required
Preferred Certifications (not required):
- BICSI Certification
- OSHA 10 or MSHA training
- Manufacturer certifications (e.g., networking or security systems)
