Role Description
LiftWell Health is seeking a full-time Psychiatric Nurse to join its team in an on-site role located in Westport, CT. The Psychiatric Nurse will provide compassionate and professional mental health care for patients, administer medications, monitor treatment plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Responsibilities include patient assessments, crisis intervention, documenting patient progress, educating patients and families about treatment, and ensuring adherence to care plans.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Mental Health Nursing and Mental Health Care
- Strong understanding of Psychiatry and general Mental Health Medicine
- Professional nursing skills, including patient assessment, treatment planning, and monitoring
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Connecticut
- Prior experience working in outpatient or structured mental health programs preferred
- Familiarity with mental health care best practices, including knowledge of regulatory requirements
